Daily Selfie World Map
This page was added 1 month ago on June 14, 2026 and complements the Daily Selfie page. A PHP script reads the GPS data from the image file and inserts it into MySQL database. The selfies are then displayed on the Google Map, showing the approximate location of the selfie.
Depending on environmental factors like tall buildings, tree cover, and indoor locations, the accuracy of the GPS data is affected. Some of the Samsung smartphone GPS data is surprisingly accurate to within 5 feet, while other GPS data might be off by 100s of feet.
